Signing up for first time
After clicking on the Sign in button found at the top right of the screen you'll be prompted to pick a method to sign in.
The easiest option in most cases is to pick one of the Sign in with Microsoft, Sign in with Google, or Sign in with Facebook options.
Organisational users
If you are an organisational user then signing in with your organisational Microsoft or Google account is strongly preferred so that we can give you access to any organisational resources.
Sign up with email address and password
If you prefer to sign in with an email address and password you will first need to sign up.
You can do this by using the the Sign up link found toward the bottom of the Sign in to SFIA NZ pop-up (after clicking on the Sign in button). You'll see the text New to SFIA NZ? Sign up. Clicking on the linked Sign up text will present a sign up form.
You will be prompted to enter your name and email address and we will send you an email to confirm your email address. Follow the instructions in the email and after confirming your email address you'll be able to set a password for you account to use.
Sign up error messages
If you have already used that email address to access or sign up for the SFIA NZ site (including through the sign in with Microsoft/Google/Facebook options or if we have pre-created an account for you), then you'll receive the error message:
A user has already signed up with the given email. Please use the regular sign-in.
In this scenario please either use your previous sign in method or request a password reset.
Signing in with an email address and password
After clicking on the Sign in button found at the top right of the screen you'll be prompted to pick a method to sign in.
Enter your email address and your password into the pop-up form and click the blue Sign in button. If your email and password are correct you'll be signed in and with have access to additional content.
Sign in error messages
If your email address and password combination are not recognised you will receive the error message:
Email address / password combination is incorrect, try again or get a new password."
If you receive this error, please check your sign in details, use your previous sign in method, or request a password reset.
