Can I use SFIA once I register on this site?

Registering on this site doesn't grant a licence to use SFIA, only to access content on this site.

SFIA requires a licence

SFIA and the SFIA content is a licenced product and you or your organisation need a licence to use SFIA.

SFIA is owned by the SFIA Foundation, and this site - SFIA NZ - is run by a SFIA Accredited Partner organisation, not the SFIA Foundation themselves, and so we can't issue licences on behalf of the SFIA Foundation.

Getting a licence

The good news is that personal use and internal use for organisational can usually be accommodated by a free licence which can be obtained by a simple registration process.

A licence can be gained by registering as an individual or organisation with the SFIA Foundation (the owners of SFIA) and selecting the appropriate licence type. See our guide to licencing for more information.
